Challenge

The switching solution needed to be able to withstand intensive usage of hundreds of drive-throughs per day, be vandal-proof and offer trouble-free reliability under extreme conditions, while of course being resistant to water, detergents and chemicals.

Solution

Barantech’s hermetically sealed housings ensured that the indestructibility switches withstand the demanding environment: water, harsh chemicals, detergents, salts, heat, and ice. Using a robust anodizing process, we also created a customized switch that looks great and has stood the test of time, and also added an extra bright LED dot for optimal visibility.
