Challenge

For professional cave and wreck divers filming underwater, primary and video lights are essential for success. UWLD approached Barantech looking for a switch solution capable of working reliably several meters under water, with good battery life, that would allow divers to control the beam intensity with a single press of the button.

Solution

The real game-changer for UW Light Dudes was providing their customers with the convenience of a simple, one button control – achieved by using Barantech’s prolonged switch function that makes one switch do the job of three (even wearing neoprene diving gloves): hold down for ON, tap & release to change power levels, and hold down for OFF.
