Challenge

Processing food, especially fish or meat, is a messy business, resulting in clogging of machines and obstructing safe operation by users, while also posing hygiene risks. ABM needed to design food processing machines that are easy to operate and clean, safe and as hygienic as possible.

Solution

Barantech’s specially developed encapsulation technology, that hermetically seals the piezo switch’s electronic module, is the perfect solutions for this demanding environment. This protective sealing renders switches impervious to penetration by anything – water, food liquids, contaminants, steam, chemicals – you name it. The result: more hygienic and long-lasting controls.
